third time lucky
So this is blog number 3 for me. My track record ain’t all that but i guess I want this blog to be a place to have a little more purpose than other ones I have failed to maintain. Fundamentally what drives me is planting churches and maybe the next post will be about my story but all in all I want this to be a place to put all my thoughts, new ideas that I want to work thru and resources I have come across.
I’ve never been to Barcelona but I would love to one day. Gaudi who designed many of the historical buildings in the city also is the architect responsible for the Sagrada Familia – a cathedral that never got finished due to his death and the Spanish Civil War. But even from this unfinished masterpiece – something about it still glorifies God and I guess that’s how I feel. I hope these unfinished thoughts glorify God in some way in the same way that I hope that I glorify God despite being a work in progress…
A lot of these thoughts will be scattered – that’s just the way my brain is. A lot of these thoughts will be unfinished – that’s because I am. Maybe friends will read this. Maybe they won’t. Maybe other planters – both practitioners and theorists - will comment. Maybe they won’t. To be honest I’m not that bothered – I just have so much to work thru in my head that this seemed as good a place as any to begin…

who i am
I’m a child of God, loved as I am and trying to follow his call as a curate, in the Church of England. I am currently serving at Holy Trinity Brompton in London, with a view to planting a church in the not too distant future... -
